When Pam sent me a link to her and Ed’s wedding venue it came with a very excited “It has a carousel!!!”. Preston Court has that and so much more.
Set out of the way in the beautiful Kent countryside, Preston Court has it all, and when you add Pam and Ed to that you get one hell of a day. An amazing outdoor island ceremony in the idyllic grounds of manor house (Pam walked down the aisle to a live acoustic cover of Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs; a thousand high fives for that), fun and games as the fairground arrives with hook-a-duck, test your strength and other classic games, the carousel (of course), and a barn fitted with the most beautiful old organ you’ve ever seen. Then Pam and Ed came in and added all there own touches. And there were lots of them. This was a wedding that was theirs and theirs alone.
It was an absolute pleasure to be able to point my camera at this couple of legends day. Here’s a small taste of the memories they’ll be taking from the day.
[This set was edited mostly to the new album ‘GN’ by the band Ratboys. It’s great. And the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Of course.]
